Crochet for Tables, Book No. 202 (1943) is a classic wartime collection from Clark’s O.N.T. / J. & P. Coats featuring elegant crocheted tablecloths designed “to Glorify Your Tables.”

The cover shows the lovely No. 7622 large openwork tablecloth with circular floral motifs, displayed under a vase of flowers. Inside you’ll find additional tablecloth and table-linen designs typical of the early 1940s, worked in bedspread-weight crochet cotton with steel hooks.

This copy is in good condition, with the only notable wear being the holes punched for binder storage (a common practice among mid-century crocheters).

A wonderful example of practical elegance from the Spool Cotton Company during the war years.
