This beautiful mid-1950s Coats & Clark booklet was designed to help homemakers create elegant, heirloom-quality pillow cases with decorative crochet. Filled with romantic floral appliqués, insertions, and edgings, it offered everything needed to transform plain pillow cases into lovely “dream settings” for the bedroom.

Inside you’ll find stunning designs such as the large Rambling Rose (P-312), the dramatic Orchid Interlude (P-321) featured on the cover, Rose Whirl (P-313), Floral Gem / Camellia (P-319 & P-318), the charming Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary crinoline lady (P-314), Pineapple Walk (P-308), Wild Rose Scroll (P-305), Spin-a-daisy (P-307), For-get-me-not (P-310), and Daylilies (P-315). Most patterns use J. & P. Coats or Clark’s O.N.T. Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 30, along with Shaded Lavenders and other specialty threads.

Condition note: This copy shows some signs of water damage and dog-eared corners from previous storage. All pages remain complete and fully readable with clear instructions and beautiful photography.
